While looking towards Sleeping Ute Mountain the young man and his friend saw UFOs at each end of the mountain. They would come together over the elbows and then rapidly go up and down then quickly go back to the ends of the mountain. After that they would go back to the middle, go up and down and then they flew away.
Last night (February 28) on Coast to Coast am Linda Moulten Howe was the guest. Her main theme was all the "booms" being heard across the Us.

then... For the last week or so been hearing booms. I hear em at
night, but that may be the only time I pay attention. Sun, night around
9pm heard two. Sounded as if coming from the Mesa Verde exit area.
Heard em before but didn't pay much attention. The gravel pit to the
west sometimes blasts, but always in daytime & rattle the house,so
it's not them. Just wondering if anyone else is hearing em or whether

UFOs OVER FARMINGTON, NM - LAST WEEK By Dave OOz

I was taking photos of lightning last week, and caught 5 photos of this object in the camera. This object was very faint and almost invisible to the naked eye, blending in with the background stars. The 20-second open shutter I was using, allows light to collect upon the digital sensor and brighten anything with emitting or reflecting light.

This afternoon I was at my daughter's place in the country. She lives on M.4 road. We were outside when something "parted" the air and went over us so fast you couldn't see it. It was pretty low too, it is a wonder it didn't hit the house as it is a tall log house. Whatever it was must have been traveling thousands of miles an hour or it was cloaked! Woman called in to Coast to Coast am on January 3, 2003.
This story is from southern Colorado at Cortez. Me and a friend were traveling and staying at a hotel. Suddenly everything changed in our room. Then we started hearing a sound like a hum or a buzz. Then it started spiraling at the top of the ceiling and slowly worked its way around us and it kept going. Before we knew it we were seeing walls and the ceiling around us and the city. Next thing we saw was like a fire down through the floor and we were basically like we were being lifted up above the city and looking around the mountains (Ute Mountain?) Cortez has some mountains around it. There was fire going on. We were still in our room but it was almost like a veil to keep us comfortable where we were put or where we were brought to. We heard the sound sort of slow down and it went away. We came back into ourselves.
We walked outside and there was smoke all around and it wasn't from a forest fire. This was 10 years ago in 1996. When I was younger I was always seeing UFOs.
Art said now you can say you are an abductee. SHE said I guess I wouldn't use the word abductee because I don't have the greatest commutation (?) with it. I feel they took us for a ride and then they brought us back. They let us feel something they live with every day.
Art asked why did they do it? Maybe just to give us insight that we are capable of it to some degree and we can do that.

MAY 28, 2012 - MEMORIAL DAY, CORTEZ, COLORADO
On Memorial Day late afternoon the witness was watching a girl on a bicycle with a little boy in the basket. All of a sudden he said "What is that? Witness looked up and saw two black squares superimposed one on another. It then changed to a figure eight and then to a black line. It lasted minutes. Since then she has been looking for others who might have seen it. She took a picture with her cell phone but it wasn't clear.

Witness observed what looked like a paper towel roll gliding across the sky from N.E. to SSW. At the end of the object was something that looked like a window or?...She observed it for about 35 seconds at 4:00 - 4:15 pm. It was moving slowly like a dirigible going towards the SSW.

On May 8, 2012 a witness saw two black helicopters flying parallel to Sleeping Ute Mountain. At the same time he was watching a "star" that appears to the left of the elbow. He observed it go down behind the mountain and then come back up again! He watched it do that 3 times. The star is brilliant and flashes blue, red and green. Whoever heard of a star going down behind the horizon and come up again? If anyone has observed anything unusual over Ute Mountain please let me know. - Aileen

We have been looking every night to see if the blinking ones return. Last night we drove out to the mountain, pulled off the road and just watched and listened. To the left of the elbow is what looks like a star but that star went behind the mountain suddenly, now we are wondering because tonight it did the same thing but earlier! What I saw last night was a flare up in the sky. It was very bright and looked like a huge headlight only it wasn't one. I only saw it approximately 2 seconds.
Tonight one of our members has been watching early in the morning and late at night. He called to say there was a huge "X" over Sleeping Ute Mountain. He said there had been no airplanes that could have made it and he had been watching it for some time. So we went outside and we saw it too. It was huge. Obviously something is taking place. I wondered if the X meant "X marks the spot!" - Aileen

Whatever we saw last night is there again tonight above Sleeping Ute Mountain. It is blinking red, blue and green. It has been there steady above the mountain for at least 20 minutes. If anyone knows what it is, let me know.

West of Cortez on the north of Ute Mountain several witnesses observed several lights blinking in red, green, blue and yellow over the "head" of Ute Mountain. The lights continued to blink for quite a while. Could this have any relation to the one seen on April 21 which was in relatively the same area?

Due West of Cortez, Colorado, North of Towac and Ute Mountain at about 1,000 ft altitude (approx) the witness observed a horizontal type of craft that was swinging back and forth. She watched it for 20 minutes. It was still there when she went to bed.
The craft was all colors and emitted "sparks" in colors of red, green, purple.... all colors. It drew her attention because it was the same as what she had observed back in 1991 at Sycamore Canyon between Cottonwood, AZ and Sedona, AZ.

On Sunday night, approximately 6:16pm on Jan 14th, I seen a white glowing object off in the western horizon west of Farmington NM. The object look to be enormous, approx 300-500'. It appeared as a long solid white light, but due to the light cloud cover, the light glowed. I had mentioned it to my wife and we watched it move from the southwest to the northwest. When it went farther north, the light was turning more to a blue light. In a few seconds, it was gone. We had initially seen the object from Piñon Hills.
From New Jersey, a similar sighting: It was a pretty large streak followed but what looked like to me as a bright white light almost so bright it looked blue in color.

It was after dark on January 3 when the witness was near the M&M turn off light facing west toward Sleeping Ute Mountain. He saw something above the skyline that flashed from green, white and red for 3 1/2 hours. He took a picture of it with his camera phone. Then it just disappeared.

Three years ago in February, I saw a bright steady burning yellowish light heading west just above Mesa Verde.
By the time I got my coat on, two more had appeared. I looked west over Goodman point and saw four heading south. Those four were joined by four or five more. These just "appeared." They were all seen at night.
Because of the cold, I had to step in and out of the house. The lights traveled slowly toward the Ute, then simply blinked out after 7 - 8 minutes.
I frequently see what appear to be shiny silver globes at quite an altitude. The one was lower than a commercial jet. They are silent. I'm guessing at a radius of 50 feet. I've seen them moving slowly in several locations, then after a minute or two they're gone. I started carrying binocs, but by the time I got 'em out they were gone. These were all at night and were always single.

Last night Jerry J. called and said he had a sighting at 8:17 pm. He was in his car at Mildred and P Road. An object flew from west to east, he thought it was going over the Mesas but then he realized it was over Cortez. He thought it was a meteor but it was traveling too slow. It had a green hue on the bottom and a green hue on the top. It went over to Broadway and then it disappeared.

"I was taking photos of lightning at a neighborhood park around 9 PM in the southern part of Farmington, NM 8/28/2011 where I live. I would set the Canon T1i to open shutter for 20-25 second to capture lightning while it rested on a tripod, and noticed a distant light that looked like a star to the S-SW of my location. I paid no attention to it, continuing my open shutter photography. I did finally notice the light had moved slightly to the left, and directed the lens towards the light. I didn't have a large lens attached with was probably the best situation to take photos of this object for clarity.
After the storm left,I reviewed my photos at home which was two blocks from the park and zoomed in the lighted object on the computer. I didn't want to believe what was photographed, but this object is bell-shaped and illuminating itself! After showing family and a few friends, we came to a consensus that this is indeed a UFO, hovering above nearby cliffs about one mile from the park. I also talked to a young Navajo woman in September, informing me she also saw this similar-shaped object hovering with movement about 12 miles west of the photo location and about a week later. Farmington, New Mexico is also location of the largest UFO armada in recorded history back in March 17th, 1950. Hundreds of flying saucers were seen flying and performing aerobatics high above the town."

Colorado Triangle
Lakewood -- Driving home from filming the sunset, I saw triangular shaped object with orange lights. It was about 5:45 PM, on November 28, 2011. I first thought it was a UFO, because I'd never seen anything like that in the sky before. As I started filming, the lights faded in and out, and also one on the right moved south. All three lights faded out, and then faded back in, then, as I said, the one on the right moved south. Then, they all faded out. I was not scared, but rather intrigued. East side of Sleeping Ute Mountain just below the head . Witness lives closer to Ute Mountain. He saw a white ball of light with what looked like red lights going around it. Said it was definitely in our atmosphere. He drives home that way every night and that is the first time he has seen that object. He called the next two observers and below is what they saw. He watched it for quite a while until it just blinked out.
2st Observer
East side of Sleeping Ute Mountain above the head a gold light stayed about 5 minutes. It turned red and then back to gold and just disappeared.

East side of Sleeping Ute Mountain a orange ball of light. Watched for about 3 minutes and then it blinked out.

Witness was sitting on patio and saw a black object twisting and turning coming toward her. Went out of field of view. Later she saw a picture of an object on the internet exactly like she had seen.

Silver disc above mesas flew into a tiny cloud - on a cloudless day and bright blue sky. Sun was hitting it or the witness would not have seen it. Never came out of the tiny cloud.

Witness was looking out of bedroom window towards the Mesas to the south. She saw a blue metallic triangular object arcing from the sky downwards. She compared the size to a full moon. She watched to see if a fire started up from where it went down thinking it had crashed but she saw nothing.
